I've used Sync3 navigation in my wife's car. Garmin Drivesmart 76 in my F150 and smart phone. The phone app I'm not a fan of. Between the Sync3 nav and the Garmin, I like the Garmin better.
I can add my own custom (normally topographic off road maps to the Garmin more easily, it's purchase price include twice a year lifetime map updates, seems quicker and more accurate, and is generally more customizable the the Sync.
Sync does have a better list of POI's until I start adding my custom POI's to the Garmin. It's also built into the dash and integrated to the car, but does have a subscription based added cost, or added cost map updates with a longer period between updates.

I will admit I'm a long time user of hand held GPS units and adopted automotive GPS back in the 1990's. I still use a few home computer mapping programs to build my own lists of POI's and maps. While my phone is an Android S23 fairly new the screen and display keyboard is too small for on road use and my 70+ year old eyes. KM

Shows NWS Radar for your current location (static radar image) and you can zoom/pan.

I am trying to figure out if this is just me, but I have a '24 Raptor. I let the "Connected Navigation" lapse about a month ago. During that time, I would get a message about navigation requiring a subscription when I would bring up Nav, but no biggie. What I noticed yesterday though is that I was no longer seeing the speed limit on my HUD or on the digital gauge cluster. When I switch to Nav on the media screen, it has GPS w/ a circle & slash through it. Does this mean my GPS is broken? Or that because I did not renew, they disable the GPS antennae?

The connected navigation is certainly not worth renewing.

Not only that, but while you are in range of a signal wifi or cell, you can download maps for areas that might not have coverage. I did this in Japan it worked well.
Not use to pay Ford for that privilige
