Yeah, so dropped the truck off for an appointment to try and figure out why I'm getting a repeat on Code P24B4.
I asked why the truck was going through turbos like gas and I had had a my 17 2.7l with 0 issues, he replied those turbos are not the same and the tolerances were much tighter with the 25's, if the software detects the slightest variance it knocks it offline, spits out a check engine code, then heat builds up and failed turbo. A new turbo assembly has been ordered, This will be my 3rd turbo /assembly/ wastegate replacement with 6524 miles on the clock. Any one going through turbos, and wastegates like this, it's crazy...

Just a short update on my Turbo troubles, chatting with my Dealers Service advisor, still no parts available and he said Ford is redesigning the turbo assembly because of so many problems and they are on back order he said there are a lot of 2.7's waiting on parts???. My truck is been down since Jan 23. next call will be Ford Canada to see what they can do. Anyone with any info??

I’d consider asking ford to do a buy back or file a lemon law suit at this point.

Short update, finally got a call to bring in my truck as the 3rd turbo assembly has arrived (been on order since jan 23) I had to fight to get a loaner truck, they gave me a 26 stx in iconic silver with the 2,7l.

Well, got a call back from Ford, truck ready to pick up, a new turbo assembly installed on Bank B to replace the new one they thought was defective , drove it 4 miles and boom, check engine and service engine soon, returned to the dealer, they hooked up a scanner, same code Bank A this time. They then ordered a 4th turbo assembly. And given me back the loaner. I have started the procedure for a buy back/compensation, I will update as i get news.
