Chip Shortage?
Hello. Just drove home my 2023 Lariat yesterday. Having trouble "Linking a Preset Position to Your Remote Control or Passive Key". As I have had over 15 Fords, this has never been a struggle.
In my "2023 Supplemental Owners Guide", page page 66, it states...
"Linking a Preset Position to Your Remote Control or Passive Key"
Then nothing on the rest of the page.
Next page is starting and stopping the engine.
In all online instructions, I am told to wait for the SECOND tone. I never hear a SECOND tone.
Could this be related to a chip shortage, or am I doing something wrong?
Thanks for your attention, and FYI, this is a Canadian truck.

Thank you so much. This worked right away.
Unsure why the "limited" manual did not provide this. Manuals used to be over 400 pages. This truck has 2 booklets, maybe 80 pages total?
I really appreciate this, have a great weekend.

The owners manual is built into the touchscreen now, isn't it?
