Check engine light on question? Help
Hey all
I remote started my 2021 2.7 ecoboost f150 this am with the ford pass app, and when I got in the check engine light was on. Was running perfectly etc. The warnings I got on the app was Malfunction indicator lamp-regulatory. The service engine soon light indicates the powertrain control module has detected a engine misfire condition caused by poor fuel quality or a powertrain malfunction. as well as this one , The engine system has detected a misfire fault.
Drove to work and ran perfectly only a 5 min drive. Now it was -7 Celsius this am and was above zero all weekend I just filled up on friday . Im not sure if we have winter gas yet maybe that is the issue?
Ill see if its still on after work if it is I may just use my code scanner to see if it will tell me what it was? If there are no codes I may just clear the light if its still on and go from there.
Truck has about 8800kms on it
Anyone else had this come up on start up?
Thanks!
If Its still on and I clear it and IF it comes back then Ill take it to the dealer.
