check engine light
Anyone have a new 21 power boost option, thats had the engine light come on?...68 miles, the computer found a fault, 456 miles the light came on, stayed on, took it to the Ford dealer, all kinds of codes stored on it, with no current faults, all codes were cleared, engine was re-tested, no faults detected?
There's something not right there?
Ive driven it 2 days with no problems, no lights, runs perfect...not exactly what you expect after shelling out over 50 grand for a pickup.

Could be bad fuel, although you are leaving out the only part that could help, which is what the dealer said. They supposedly cleared a bunch of codes, but didn't say anything about them? Just, "we cleared a bunch of codes, here you go!", and you didn't ask any follow up questions until now, on this forum?
I guess I just don't know what anyone here can tell you, you need to talk to the service department. You should be able to see just scanning the thread topics that this isn't anything super common, and even others that have had engine codes could have been for any of the 400 reasons an engine code gets thrown.
If it runs well, and the dealership didn't see reason to keep the truck, I will just assume some bad fuel, either from the truck sitting before delivery or just bad luck when the dealer put gas in it.

Thanks for the response, I did ask some questions, but the service manager didn't have any answers, like was it engine related codes? Transmission related codes? after that I'm sorta lost, he figured something during production, when i asked him if it had anything to do with the electric motor on the truck, he said>? oh..that's an electric one huh? i haven't had any of those yet...that explains that hum when your truck pulled in??
so his technical term for the 1st true hybrid F150, powerboost, is, oh that's the hum i heard?? nice

Sheeeesh, sorry to hear that. Well try, as hard as it may be, to not let it ruin the fun. You may want to pick up an MX Bluetooth OBD adapter if you don't have one. Using Forscan (free), you can read stored codes yourself. It can also be used to modify certain aspects of the truck, so it's great anyway. But for you it may be nice just as a bit of assurance.
I have a limited powerboost that has had a bunch of check engine lights. In my case it is a known issue that is software related. Every time I brought it in it would say there was a cylinder misfire even though that wasn’t the case. Software was supposed to be ready by mid March, but that wasn’t the case. Got a call last week the software is ready (I just haven’t had a chance to go get it installed).
Maybe this is what your truck is experiencing?
