Default Carbonized Gray really silver?

Went to a dealer and looked at some swatches, looks silver to me. Don't think I am a fan of it.

Magnetic, carbonized gray, and lead foot

Carbonized gray and magnetic

I like it a lot, Magnetic was always too dark for me... Explorer and Super Duty are already being produced in Carbonized if you want to try and see it in person.

Yeah, though they had nothing in stock in that color, only Lead Foot and the now deceased Magnetic. Do you normally like silver. I used to like black vehicles, though I started to like Magnetic.

Oddly enough Carbonized Gray looks darker in the images on the build page than the Lead Foot.

I drove to a different dealer today, who had some carbon gray explorers in stock and looked at a few colors.. It was over cast and I snapped some photos, but can't upload it here for some reason.

It seems like this color is the best for a get away driver. It seems like in outside conditions it looks more like magnetic, but in a dealership or stadium, it goes more toward the silver. In the dealer's cool light it looked silver, in these posts they seem to agree with the stadium shot:

Yes, I had an Ingot silver 2015 Mustang which I thought was beautiful and currently drive a Shadow Black 2017 F-150. I've always thought Magnetic was a nice color but just a little too dark for me so I was really happy when Carbonized ended up being noticeably lighter.

Having looked at the Super Duty's several times now it's definitely a darker metallic gray. Nobody is going to confuse it with silver.
