Default Car play issue

Seems like at least once a day I have to hard restart my radio in my 2024 F150 XLT.

The issue is when I make a phone call, it shows connected everything looks fine, including people can hear me, but I can’t hear them. So I have to end up setting my phone to speaker. It works fine after I reset it. Seems to happen with Spotify everything looks like it’s playing but no sound. Any ideas? Again I reset the radio and everything works fine. The way I’m resetting it is holding the power and fast-forward button, that’s what I had a guy tell me to do. I’m guessing this is correct? Sorry if this is all been discussed I’m pretty new here. Thx

I experience the same issue with my car play with my 2021 F150 XLT. Very annoying and can't come up with a fix other than shutting the truck off and starting it, then it seems to reboot and work again. That's not great, usually driving and realize it's not working. It's been worse lately, wondering if they pushed an update that is affecting it. Technology is great, until it isn't working correctly!

not that this is a fix, but to avoid having to shut your pick up off, especially when you’re cruising down the road, you can hold the power button and the fast-forward button down at the same time and hold until the radio resets, it seems to work as well.

just thought I would mention here that I did reply to this and heard nothing back. Not sure if this is a robot or what, but it was no help. Just a FYI

You wont hear anything from the Ford bot

i’ve had times where I can hear the caller they can’t hear me.

i’m suspect its an update issue. Apple updates more than Ford, so whether it Apple updates screwing it up or Ford I don’t know., but the system does get unstable any time an update arrives
