Reflashed PCM last night with my old tune and it worked. Truck didn't go into C/D during my morning commute today. Last OTA update was def for PCM, was the battery maintenance thing. Funny how is does not show up on FordPass anymore. Will def take you up on your offer after I turn off the OTA auto updates. Thanks again

Last update was 24-PU0121-FTDI-FX. Was installed May 5. I'm guessing my reflash overwrote it and this update is now pending. Shut off OTA updates.

I recently received 23-PU1009-SS-NS which updated my PCM and it overwrote my custom tune. The interesting thing is that it didn't seem to completely overwrite the custom tune file, certain changes were obviously still in place while others had reverted back to stock. What's more interesting is that I never received a notification on my Sync screen, and I had to check the Ford Pass app to verify what happened.

I'm not bothered by this at all as re-flashing my custom tune with my HP Tuners MPVI3 took less than 5 minutes, but I have to wonder how Ford is identifying Roush, Whipple, or Ford Performance supercharged F150s. Imagine taking your supercharged F150 on a road trip and having the PCM revert back to a stock file when you stop for gas or get to your hotel. This has the potential to be a big problem for people with modifications or fuels that require a tune.

Quick update
SCT unlocked my device for free. I'm sending my new strategy to OZ to rebuild my tune.

Because certain elements of the tune become part of your AB data once the truck syncs up with the mothership.

The saga continues:
SCT doesn't have a file to support my new strategy. So at this point I'm waiting on them to add this to their list of factory strategies so OZ can build me a new tune.

I know others have just reloaded their old tune but I'm not sure this is the way to go. I'm guessing this will just be pushed again. I really don't want to give up automatic updates in general as over time they have really improved my truck. As a BlueCruise user I'm also hoping for updates to this system. I will definitely set updates to require approval but don't plan on blocking them completely.

On another note I now realize how much I like my OZ tune.

Just flash the old tune. It's not that big a deal. Figure it out once they do. This will have zero effect on bluecruise updates.

I am in the same boat. HAve a Oz tune on my 5.0L. I Travel(drive ) mostly for work and actaully drive in Eco mode during those times. I noiticed I received an update but with my light driving I actaully didnt notice. Well My ngauge did rest and disaplyed found a new truck. Hmmm. I had to reset .....setup the display- 6 PAck gauges(RPM, IAT, ALk %, Timing, Knock etc) thought not too much of it. Then yesterday on a open mexico road. I was going along ..and noticed I could not go over 106.. Hmmmm. came up to traffic and still didnt think too much of it. Then I read this. Terrible in that some of these updates are really good. APIM radio updates etc....
So for now I can just reload my Oz tune or ???
Thanks
