Default Camper Shell

I am looking for a metal camper shell for my 2021 SC LB. Do you have any suggestions?

Following. I used to have a lightweight aluminum cap on my '96 but can't remember the brand.

I'm planning to buy an ARE MX HD once they become available for the long bed. The MX is a mid-rise cap, and the HD version comes with an internal skeleton, giving a roof rack capacity of about 550 lbs. The skeleton is made of 80/20 or equivalent, meaning stuff can be attached quite easily.

Unfortunately ARE has yet to come out with any MX series caps for the 2021, and so far is only producing caps for the short beds (5.5' and 6.5').

I have a Leer 180CC on my current 2007 truck, and have been mostly happy with it. The cap itself is great and takes a beating, but a few little things have annoyed me. The light wiring seemed to be quite strange, and caused numerous issues until I redid it. The locks are partially stuck, and while still functional, do not have their full range of travel. If the ARE MX HD is not available, I may consider the 180CC again.

Regardless of which cap I buy, I plan to go with the HD or CC version in lieu of the standard MX or 180. I'm looking for a roof rack with at least a 300lbs capacity.
