Camera button on dash
I recently bought a 21 F150, there is a camera button on the dash. On my wife's 18 Edge this button operates the front camera. My question is does Ford just add the button on all F150s or only if it came with a camera? The previous owner modified the grill the salesman told because now the there are 3 front markers lights. So I am wondering if there is wiring for the camera so I can just add the camera to the front or they just put the button on the dash.
If the camera is or was there in the grill it is in the bottom of the FORD blue emblem.
The present 22 and former 21 302a XLT with 360 camera view when traveling at speed pushing the button only allows for rear viewing. Pushing the button while parking or barely moving there is a 360 degree view but immediately turns off as the speed is increased.
360 camera view is a option on many models of the 14 gen F150's.

Quickest way to be sure is to look in the owner manual. I google xl interiors and see two buttons and a small screen on the XL. One button will be the Hazard Warning light. The other........ I don't know

Good luck with that. Recently go5 my 2023 xlt with the owners manual on-line. Tried to look up a couple of things, got less than acceptable results. Apparently if you don’t use the exact words the writers used, it doesn’t work.
