Default Break in process?

My 2021 F150 has 2700 miles on it and the engine failed about a month ago. I am about to get the truck back from the Ford dealer with a brand new 5.0 in it and I was wondering if there is any specific break in process I should follow. When I bought the truck new I drove it like I normally would except I did not use cruise control for the first 1500 miles. Hopefully I have better luck the second time around!
Thanks for any advice in advance!

No heavy towing or hard accelerations for the first 1000 miles, which is what Ford recommends for all new vehicles. From the owners manual:

BREAKING-IN
Your vehicle requires a break-in period. For the first 1,000 mi (1,600 km), avoid driving at high speeds, heavy braking, aggressive shifting or using your vehicle to tow. During this time, your vehicle may exhibit some unusual driving characteristics.

Years ago I was at the Arlington TX GM plant. At that time they were making the Caprice, Buick Roadmaster and Impala SS. I watched a 2 minute old car go to a "dyno" cell and promptly go thru the gears at full throttle. Drive it like you will drive it. Pass on breaking in BS.

I have to agree with the just drive it statement. I worked for Harley years ago and as soon as those bikes come off the assembly line they are roll tested. Some of the testers were not very gentle on the new bikes. If you buy a vehicle off the lot I’m sure someone else test drove it at some point. Same thing. I wouldn’t beat it, but I wouldn’t do anything special for the first 1k miles
