I am asking for recommendations. I like the swing case storage for things like jumper cables, trailer hitches, basic tools, etc but it kind of eliminates me from being able to add something like a bed divider due to the swing case is in the way. Any recommendations on products where I can somehow have both a divider and basic tool storage. Not interested in a regular truck tool box because I have a hard folding tonneau cover. Thank you

 

i have the swing cases in bed as well. I just bought a cargo bar ( ) its not heavy duty but works well and can slide it under the majority of the swing boxes to do things like keep grocery bags by the tailgate. It servs the purpose I need it for, not sure how much weight it will keep back. When storing it I just put it at the end (cabside) of the bed up under my tonneau cover (have a BAK hard rollup).

 

I have the divider (bought with ford points) and it can come in useful sometimes. Typically it’s mounted to the forward position. I typically have parts & small tool bags etc there. Not convinced about the tool boxes.

 

There are also slots built into the sides of the box behind the rear wheels for sliding a standing 2x8 or 2x10 in vertically to divide for storage in front of tailgate
