It is still pathetic to me that a $54K truck doesn't come with a locking gas cap door, an old 06' Civic EX I owned had one! Tough Cap Type C – locking gas cap
Bed cover was a rather tedious. installation. There are 4 tightness settings, the poor installation instructions started with the tightest one, well it was the loosest one! At least there is a lot of ability to tighten it further as it loosens with age. It will be interesting to see how well it keeps out water in a heavy down pour. https://realtruck.com/p/tonnopro-lor...r/tnp-lr-3045/
Thanks for the gas cap link...had one on my 2012 and it wouldn't work on the 2022 I just picked up. Nice little bit of peace of mind to make it a little more of a pain for someone to access.
I hear you on the cover...I had one just like it on my 2012. It was a really good cover though and the company that makes them really stand behind the product. My first one began coming apart at the stitching on the sides where it velcros down. I contacted them and they told me they had had an issue with earlier ones and sent me out a replacement within a day or two. A couple years later that one started doing the same thing! I thought no way will they replace it a second time but I figured it was worth a shot. I had saved my previous emails and contacted them again. The girl asked me for the number that was stamped on cover and when I gave it to her she said that was one of the ones from the original bad batch and that i should never have been sent that one. She told me to destroy and sent me a second cover! That one was still great when I got rid of the old truck.
