I don’t know about Tesla, but RAM allows you to turn the rear camera on anytime you want, even while moving at any speed.

BY FAR the most useful thing I used that feature for was while pulling in my garage, I would hit the rear camera button, and as soon as I could see the track of my garage door clear my rear bumper, I knew I was as far back to the door and still have it close without hitting my truck.....leaving the most space in front of my truck in the garage! Wish Ford would activate this feature!

So now the 2021 models disable camera while in motion -not only above a certain speed?

My 2016 camera will enable while at speeds less than 5 or something like that. I used it when parking to make sure I'm far enough forward in the lane so the tail end just aligns with the paint stripe, or thereabouts.
