Default B&O 8 speaker help

I have a xlt super crew with the b&o stereo that I’m thinking about adding a amplifier to hopefully help out this pathetic system. Does anyone know how the factory system limits frequency to each speaker and if through passive crossovers are they located at the speaker or somewhere else. I would like to try using the existing speakers. I’m thinking with more power and better crossovers the system might sound okay. I know this won’t help the subwoofer but that’s another project.

It seems B&O makes it more expensive and complicated to upgrade than the base system. Thanks for the link looks the right product but I’m not ready to go that far with it.

yes, it is expensive but AFAIK there is no other option currently to tie into Sync3/B&O.
