Automatic running boards
My running board won't retract. Tried cleaning and lubricating. If I assist it it goes up?

Could be a weak motor or a seized up hinge. Depending on your location and amount of snow/salt... I usually lean towards a seizing up hinge.

Replaced the motor on the driver's side of my '21 Platinum already. Michigan. Snow and salt. It happens.
