Default Automatic climate controlled seats?

Hi all. Maybe a dumb question but I can’t seem to find the answer.

what is the “automatic” setting on both the heated and cooled seats? My 2020 and 2023 you just had the 3 settings and then off. Now on my 2025 it shows up on the screen and there is an additional “automatic” setting.

any idea what this does?

it turns the seat heater based on the climate control setting, it works quite well IMO. you can watch it turn the heat up as you dial the heat temperature up

I have noticed it also. It drives me nuts, I hit the button in my 2023 and it comes on high. I hit the button on my 2025 and it comes on low, hit it again it goes to high hit it again for medium. Another thing fixed that didn't need fixen.

It is almost as dumb as the seat belt warning on the IPC every time someone gets in or out of the truck. I know it goes away after a a minute or so, but what really is the need for it all the time. I pick up my Granddaughter from work, t pops on. I drop her off it pops on. I hop out of the truck for a minute to drop off garbage it pops on.

At least I can turn off the check the back for your Baby.

What next check to see if you went to the bathroom before you take off, hit OK if you did and cancel if you didn't.
