Autolamp and other software issues
Posted part of this to the remote start thread below but my software issues seem to be building and am curious if others have dealt with similar...
First is the autolamp setting where the lights stay on for a certain period after you turn off and leave the truck. I think it's called autolamp? Anyway... a few times now I have locked the truck and walked away only to come back out and see the lights still on minutes or hours later. I have it set to 10 seconds normally. One morning my neighbor told me he saw my lights on all night. I did find that if I go into settings and turn it OFF and then back to 10 seconds, it works fine again for awhile.
The next is the well kwown issue with the heated seats and steering wheel during remote start. It is all set to auto. Its been in the 20s each morning for the last few days. I've let it go for almost 15 minutes each time. Two times I've had no heating on either the wheel or seat. The third time I did have the wheel warming up but no seat. I've tried turning the setting odd and then back on like I did with the lights but that didn't work. Whats odd is that it did seem to be working great weeks back. Now it's a no go.
Such a shame really on an otherwise great truck..
Oh and I guess I should say it's a platinum PB loaded. Build date of 4-21. Seems like us with earlier builds really got the short end of the stick which isn't acceptable.
