Default Auto Windows

I have a 21 Lariat Supercrew I picked up yesterday and the drivers side window bounces when it goes up on auto. I though someone posted about this and the fix but I can't find the thread. Can anyone help? If not, I'll schedule service.

Resetting One-Touch Close Carry out all steps within 30 seconds of starting the sequence. Close the window. Press and hold the window control switch until the window is fully open. Keep the window control switch pressed for a few seconds. Lift and hold the window control switch until the window is fully closed. Keep the window control switch held for a few seconds. Press and hold the window control switch until the window is fully open. Keep the window control switch pressed for a few seconds. Lift and hold the window control switch until the window is fully closed. Keep the window control switch held for a few seconds. Note: Repeat the procedure if the window does not close when you use one-touch.

My Lariat did the same thing. Check out page 137 of the Owners manual. Easy fix.

1. Close the window until it reaches the point of resistance and let it reverse.

2. Lift the window control switch within two seconds to override bounce-back and close the window. Bounce-back is now disabled and you can close the window manually.

WOW!!! Thanks Blueshound my truck had the same problem and I did as you said and wa la, problem solved. Now I don't have to make a special trip to the dealer. I'm glad I found this post.

Happy to help. Just be prepared to "rinse and repeat". I've done mine 4 times in 2 weeks lol. It's on my list for the dealership at my first service if it doesn't improve by then.
