Approach/Welcome Light Issue
I have the approach/welcome light function on. Recently the driver’s puddle light will not illuminate. All of the other lights operate as expected. I am able to illuminate it with the button in the cab and while in the zone lighting function. I didn’t see any settings for the approach lighting.
Could I have adjusted what lights are part of the approach? Is there a way to reset all truck settings? Any advice would be appreciated.

Yes battery is first thing to look at. Is yours original? I’d replace it if so with an H8 AGM (non powerboost) and reset the BMS. At least put it on charger with the negative black cable of charger hooked outside the BMS sensor (e.g. clamp it to chassis ground) so that the BMS registers the charging.
We're at the stage where 21 owners start to have to replace tired old batteries. Check and see if it comes on when you manually light it up.
PS H8 was standard on diesel versions.

…so I felt around Friday night and noticed a lack of a puddle light… what a knucklehead
. The replacement is installed and I will test it in the morning.
Thanks for all great suggestions. Where do I pay my idiot tax?
