My truck is at the dealer waiting for a new APIM.and Active Air Dam fault..Two questions.
1. Can the APIM be damaged by charging the battery with a Noco 10 charger?
2. Does the APIM have anything to do with the deployment of the air dam?

 

No and no. The air dam is controlled by the PCM. My truck is always reporting a soft code at the PCM for not being able to find the air dam because I pulled all that crap out when I converted to the Tremor skid plate up front.
