"SK Innovation isn't being forced to stop work right away, though. The company has been given four years to continue importing components for the upcoming electric Ford F-150 variant"

They will be around for a few more years. If you buy one of them and have an issue, even with that long warranty, they may not have a replacement battery for it.. Now you
have a 4-5yo F150 that is un-usable and not able to be sold.

Real interesting mess. Even if they do reach an agreement between the two companies, in the long run the batteries may change mfg and be slightly different. Something to
really monitor, and I am sure Ford is really working to keep things the same.

I'm pretty sure the federally mandated Ford hybrid powertrain warranty will mitigate that. Minimum 8 years and 100,000 miles. Unless Ford goes under and the government doesn't bail them or you and your hybrid out, you won't have an unusable unsellable hybrid in 4-5 years because of the battery
