I have the update that allows Android Auto to use the full screen and I have the 12 inch screen. When I expand to full screen, google maps stays the same size and the date and time is displayed on the right hand side where the Sync Tiles normally are. There is no real benefit to exanding to full screen since the time is already displayed elsewhere and the map is still the same size. Android auto just updated to v8.7.6xxxxx. I keep hearing that AA v8.8 is supposed to enable some other options. Is v8.7.6 (rounding up) considered 8.8 or is another update coming? Are there settings somewhere I haven't been able to find that co figures what gets displayed in the expanded area or do I need to wait for another AA update?

 

you need to wait for google to enable on the server side, your updated coolwalk android auto, then you'll see a difference
