Default Adding tow mirrors. Need to activate telescope

Hey guys. I’ve been using forscan for years in my personal vehicles and for my customers. I have a platinum f150 2021. I added factory tow mirrors. I ordered them off the vin number of a truck exactly like mine with all same options but with tow mirrors. Added the door switch. Wiring is all there. Everything in the mirrors work except for the running lights aren’t on at night on the mirrors. And also, the telescope feature doesn’t work. I can’t seem to locate what needs done to make these work? Thanks!

You should post in the Forscan thread stickied at the top of this forum. The guys are still figuring out the programming for the 2021s. Still a ways to go to get everything figured out. I'm not sure anyone has the tow mirrors figured out yet.

If you don't mind me asking, how much did the mirrors and new door switch run you?

I am WAAAY not mechanical, so this might be way off, but I ordered my '21 F150 Platinum with Tow Mirrors, and everything was ready to go *except* a chip that controls the telescopic function. Dealer recommended I just take it home rather than waiting for who-knows-how-long for the chip. They'll call me when they get it (no time estimate), and I'll bring it back in to have the chip installed. Not sure if that has any bearing on your situation at all, but since you mentioned the telescopic not working, just thought I'd throw it out there just in case.
