Default Adaptive headlights Adjustment ?

I bought a 21 lariat 502a
My truck has max tow and added RAS (Road-master active suspension) which added a little more rake to the truck. It seems like the headlights need to be adjusted. Being the adaptive ones I figured they might do it on their own. What needs to be done to adjust them ?

Adaptive headlights are explained in the manual. They steer around curves, they don't automatically aim. Aiming instructions are also in the manual under "adjusting the headlamps".

I believe his truck should have the auto leveling feature as well. Though I am unsure if it needs to be recalibrated with the ride height adjustment

When I leveled my truck, I parked it in from of my garage at night and took a picture of the line my low beams made on the garage door, and marked exactly where I parked my truck in terms of distance from the garage door. I had the shop install the 2" leveling kit and when I went to measure them against my garage door, they were in the exact same spot they were before. I don't know if there is a limit to how much the auto leveling headlights will self adjust to, but in my case with only a 2" raise of the front end, they leveled themselves perfectly.

Yea IDK, OP effecively lowered his front end by adding more rake, I wonder if he is hitting the upper limit of how far they can adjust up?

I would assume the rake it adds is less than 2", but maybe they aren't designed to adjust in that direction since whet you tow or add payload, the adjustment would have to be made in the opposite direction. However, when I start my truck and it performs its light test, they do indeed go up, down, left and right. It would have been good to measure before and after.

yeah they do the sweep up down left right when I start the truck at night. . But they are definitely pointed in a underwhelming Directions going down the road.

2022 Powerboost Platinum standard tow package. Installed RAS today and then drove tonight after dark. I didn't see a difference and asked my wife and she didn't see a difference either.

I know that height/level sensor was in my way when installing the RAS. Not really in the way after installed, but was a pain to work around while making sure not to bang it. Lucky the sensor is only on the driver side. Install went quickly on the passenger side.
