Hey, so the title says it all. Recently picked up a 2015 f150 5.0l from a local dealership and they had replaced the transfer case before listing it. On the first snow fall I put it into 4h but was getting no engagement from the front wheels followed by a check 4x4 light. I've gone through the whole vacuum system which appears to be functioning correctly with no leaks, I also pulled the shift motor off and tested it, that also checked out. At this point I checked the model number on the transfer case, they installed a BW 4467 TOD, the issue is my truck doesn't have the option for 4A, would the simple fix be to replace the switch and have the tccm reprogrammed. Would this cause the 4H not to engage?
First, you’re posting in the 2021+ section of the forum. Second, how recent was your purchase? Did you take it back to the selling dealer for some goodwill repair?
