Default 35s with a 2.5" level?

Hello, I am getting ready to install a 2.5" leveling kit on my 2023 XLT 4x4 Supercrew with the factory 20" rims. I am wondering if anyone has experience with throwing 35s on the factory rims and whether significant trimming would be required. I am also considering just getting 17" Methods and some 35s as well. If anyone has any pictures of similar setups I would greatly appreciate it.

Hey there. I have a 2022 Lariat which I added a https://www.stage3motorsports.com/as...t-leveling-kit, since these have a offset you don't have to change the upper control arm, you will probably want to add some camber bolts as ford doesn't provide these from the factory so I a changed mine as you will want to check your alignment (camber bolts x 2) ,SPC86252 04-23 F150 & Raptor SPC HD. Also I kept the factor 18" rims. They are 18x44mm offset an you need min 34mm offset to allow some distance between tire an upper control arm so I added 10mm spacers. I added 35x12.50x18 Bfg Ko2. I got all my add ons from Stage3motorsports. Hope this helps.

Thank you for your input! Love the beefy look of the tires. Just looking for a slightly elevated look over stock so I'm leaning to keeping stock rims for sure. I also found some tires that are 35x11.5 instead of the more normal 12.5. Im wondering if those would need any spacer to make work. Might just need to do some more research.

I kept my stock rims as well. Depends on your rim width as well, mine are 18x8.5, ..My goal was to keep the tires tucked under the fenders. The 12.5 was the perfect fit. 11.5 section width varies based on tire line..I work for a tire manufacture. : )

Not a problem at all. I’ve had 35 x11.5 with level and factory wheels on my ‘13, ‘16, now ‘22 with no rub at all.
