Checking air pressure in my tires today and noticed a HV (orange) wire resting on a stud. Looks like this could eventually rub through the insulation. Is this normal? Front right wheel spring mount.
I would call that "not normal" and would expect that eventually lead to a recall. If it were me, I'd find a way to secure it to ensure separation. The engineer it me says to take it to the dealer to make sure it's documented so that can get passed up the chain back to Ford.
edit: Are there still two inverters under the hood on the 2024s? The eliminated the large belt drive starter motor generator from the engine, I wonder if they also redid the HV wiring on the passenger side. Here's a pic of my 2022 Powerboost in that same location. Plenty of clearance between that stud and the HV wiring. Pardon the mess, my truck has been fluid filmed, so sand and dust like to stick to my frame.
In the pic, it looks like it's close to the stud on the left, but it's the perspective. There's actually a lot of space between both bolts and the HV wiring.

Yea, "the Engineer in me" (BSME) is planning to rectify the situation. Probably will 3D print a a wire protector. Just wondering if this is unique to my truck, or if all PB trucks have this wire sitting on the stud.
