Default 22 Platinum Chrome Delete - In progress

Just finished up doing the tailgate appliqué in Satin Black with platinum and f150 logos color matched to star white. To get the platinum letters matched, I purchased an abs raised letter kit from Etsy (link below) and then color matched them before install

Also did the fender emblems and color matched the door handles.

Word of caution when re-installing the door handles, do not force it back in! Look into the hole where the left side of the handles insert into the door and make sure the teeth are backed out enough by turning the bolt in the side of the door and then reinsert. I forced it while installing my first handle back in and pushed the mechanism out of alignment and had to take the door apart including the inside panel. It is very easy to reinstall if you just take your time and know what you’re doing. Thanks Mr.Boom for the video on how to remove but wish there was a good video explaining the reinstall process

Used Touch up direct aerosol color match kit for the star white metallic and Duplicolor Color Max satin black with 1K Matte Clear. Next project is the mirror covers color matched and then on to the front grille assembly

I absolutely love it. I have been considering doing this to mine for some time now.
