I’ve tried searching the forum and didn’t find anything useful. Have any of you guys added a tailgate damper to your 21 builds? If so, which product did you use, and what modifications did you have to make to the tailgate? I’ve seen some products where you have to bend or remove the tie down(s). Any input is most appreciated, or a link to a thread where this topic is already covered. TIA

 

Oem Ford. Did NOT remove tail gate. Would really like to have tailgate release via the fob. First attempt to rig something failed.
