Default 21 Roush

I have a 2018 Roush and was looking to move to a 2021. The problem was that I just could not stomach the huge plastic body kit they were going to add on to the truck, It just looked so tacky like the station wagon in the Vacation movie with the Griswalds. Checked again on the site today, and wow, a nice clean good looking truck taking the place of the original design. Just a more tasteful design with minimal wheel flares and a clean design. I like it.

I agree, it looks as tacky as a Tuscany truck.

I missed this part. If they scrapped the tacky stick-on flared fenders, that's the best decision they ever made. The grille still looks like a rip-off of the Raptor grille, but that's a minor issue.

looks like on the Roush site, they have deleted the version with the stick on sides and replaced it with what I think is a much more tasteful design with even minimal fender flares. Even the ones on my 2018 Roush seemed larger than they needed to be. The new design with a very small flare looks just right. Put a smooth Diamond Back cover on it and wait for the supercharger this time to clear certification and I am a buyer. Leadfoot or black, I won't be picky. For a bit less money, the new Tremor F-150 looks good, just needs the Roush wheels on it. The only issue for me is that the Temor is Ecoboost only. I like the V8 even with less power and torque. My Roush is now 3 years old with 100,000 miles on it. The rear Fox shocks made it to almost 80k before failure and the hood decals are starting to fade and chalk up. The fender flares are beginning to fade a bit but it has been a really good truck for what I do with it. I do have to change the tires to something narrower in the winter since the 305-50-20 are not the best in snow and ice so I have an extra set of Roush rims with Blizzak tires mounted. The Roush rims hold up really well in salt and snow and still look new. Even the windshield banner that says ROUSH has held up to a million wiper swipes and ice scraping over them and no problems. Replaced one burned out LED in a fender flare. They are nothing special, just really common trailer led lights I found out. A pain to change. The driver's seat has a bit of wear on the outside edge of the bottom cushion, but since it is Katskin, getting a replacement should be easy. I thought this would be my last Roush if they stuck with the Tupperware cladding on the new one. I am back for another round if this is the new cladding free design they end up with.

From Roush on an Email inquiry.

The first trucks will be built without the cladding. Cladding will be available in later builds. No factory installed superchargers for now. They will be available later for dealer installs. They were unclear if at the later time, you might be able to choose cladding or no cladding or if it will just be a switchover to cladding only.
