Default 2024 payload?

Why is my payload on my 2024 lariat screw only #1687 with a #gvwr 7100? The only options I ordered were the 501a with black pkg, 3.73 rear and bed utility pkg nothing else I see 2023’s with 502 pkg and moonroofs with a higher #.

I don’t know for sure but bed utility is a bigger penalty than the moon roof because it’s all additional weight as opposed to the glass replacing metal.

Max tow would have given the upgraded GVWR and GCWR. Powerboost I assume based on the 3.73 axle?

Higher trims tend to have lower payload because of the extra weight of all the extra features built into the truck. Plus the newer the truck, the more gadgetry (last generation 2.7s had 50-75 pounds higher payload). Does yours have the bed step?

yes it has the bed utility pkg and when you pair the Bap pkg with the bed pkg you get the extended running boards which doesn’t help either.

I’m curious as to why all the trucks gvwr have increased, the trucks that were 7050# are now 7100# and the powerboost is up to 7400#.
