Anyone order a 22 platinum and get a build date yet?

I ordered 21 platinum end of Sept. received order confirm from ford end of Oct. nothing since then.

dealer says no production date due to being platinum.

just curious if anyone else ordered a platinum and get a production date yet

 

Just curious as to why being a platinum would make a difference ?

 

I don’t know. Unless something specific to platinums are out of stock.
that’s why I’m curious if anyone with a 22 platinum order has a scheduled production date

 

I also ordered my 2022 at the end of September - I received a confirmation date a couple days later - nothing since - my dealer said it was due to the FX4 - my son ordered the same day a Lariat 2 wheel drive - he received his confirmation letter the same day - and a couple weeks ago he received his production letter-his build date is 1/17/22

I dont know what the hold up is - but other sites people with Platinums are waiting - if you look they have a lot of XLT on lots

 

I ordered a Tremor 2022 on 11/26/2021, received an e-mail from Ford confirming my order in the end of the day.
On 12/02/2021 I received another e-mail from Ford informing my truck is scheduled to be built on the week of Dec-13.
On 12/22/2021 I received another e-mail from Ford informing my truck has been built and is estimated to deliver at the dealership in the week of Jan-02 to Jan-08

Take a look on the order paper that the dealership gave to you and look at the priority code. Researching other forums I saw that this code indicates the priority to build your truck in this particular dealership. The order code 10 is the highest and lower the number, lower is the priority for this dealership. (Mine was 10)

But something strange is that I received the VIN number from the second e-mail from Ford but no matter what I do I can't get the window sticker. Now I'm just waiting to get the information that my truck was delivered.

 

Try to contact your dealership and ask for an update

 

Aren’t higher trim levels having longer delays due to them requiring more chips for all their options?

 

I don't think so. My configuration is the high trim with moonroof and active assistance. And will be delivered in less than 3 months.

 

Zach@Granger had said that they only had 12% of their Platinums scheduled, every other trim level was near 100% (aside from BAP orders).

I ordered a 701A 12/7 , considering going up to the Limited so it gets scheduled, but I dislike that light gray/blue interior.

 

I ordered a Platinum on 10/26, did not order wheel well liners, spray in bed liner as I was told it would push out the build date. On Nov 17 dealer called & said if I added adaptive steering it would push up my build date.
I had him add it to the list. On Nov 22 I get a call from the dealer with a VIN number and a build date of 1/24.
