2022 level with plow
Just looking for some input/advice here. I have a 2022 xlt sport on order with the plow prep that will be getting a 7.5' fisher HT plow from the dealer. I am only doing my driveway and not driving around with the plow on when it's not needed. I will also most likely have a little bit of weight in the back when plowing but not much, maybe a few buckets of sand.
I am looking to have the dealer install a front leveling kit before I take delivery of the truck. I have been seeing that most of these newer trucks can have a significant amount of rake to them (2" +). I would like to have it mostly level with a small amount of rake so I'm thinking about a 2" level. I currently have a 2019 with the same specs with the 2.7 Eco and a 1.5" Motofab level in it with 1/2" rake and love the look. That truck had exactly 2" of rake when stock.
New Truck specs as follows: 2022 xlt sport, supercrew, short bed, 4x4, 5.0, plow prep, 20" wheels. (Non FX4, no tow/trailer package).
I'm basically looking to see whether a 1.5 or 2" level would be the better option. 95% of the time the truck will not have the plow on or weight in the bed. Should this truck sit the same as a non plow prep model or do they beef up the front end at all?
I might upgrade to a more aggressive tire at some point if the stock ones don't work out but would stick with the stock size or just slightly bigger. Thanks in advance!
