2022 Lariat Software Issues
I have a 2022 F150 lariat that started with software issues not long after I purchased it and I have not seen similar posts with the same issue.
The Ford pass app displays the following error messages:
-Hill start assist warning
-antilock brake fault
-pre-collision assist not available
-Blindspot detection with cross traffic
While in error mode, the cruise control, auto hold, and shift modes are all in operable.
when it first started, it would error each morning and soon there, after it would correct itself, and the fully operational for the rest of the day. And that would happen every day..
because the issue would go away, I feel like it may be software related rather than hardware.
I took it in for service and they replaced a wheel speed sensor and now the error occurs more often and has gotten progressively worse. It now errors, roughly 95% of the time.
I was extremely disappointed with the service department of the initial dealer. I took it to so I recently dropped it off at a new dealer, who hopefully will be able to diagnose and correct the issue.
has anyone experience a similar issue with their new F150 or have ideas?

There’s a lot of threads about it. Basically the F150’s and even some SD’s just had batteries that can’t hold up to the demand and die early. Replacing the battery fixed these problems.
im not saying it is your issue, because I don’t know for sure, but it certainly seems similar

Long story short, I ended up contacting Ford about buying my 2022 Lariat back because of these software issues and it was approved.
Yesterday I took home a 2023 F150 King Ranch 4x4 SuperCrew with the PowerBoost engine. I hope I have better luck with this one.
