That's a good deal. I only have the first one with a screwdriver handle - the others can be useful. Another area where these come into use is putting on rear mud guards. Have to pop out one plastic rivet on each side. At least I had to for the Husky mud guards I installed.

Yea they come in handy I’ve already used them a couple times. Did the nickel trick under the center console springs to keep the top up better used the plastic lever thing . Works much better now.

BUT, couldn't get the hood to close properly. Had to slam it a bunch of times and it finally closed.... But I was like the heck with this, it's way too tight. Called AVS and they said maybe the mold on the first one wasn't allowed to dry enough and wasn't fitting right. They just sent me a replacement. Question is - anyone else tried one of these with success? I'm thinking of bagging the whole thing and getting one that sticks on..... I had a shield on my 2016 truck and my 2003 truck in the past with no issues. Thanks in advance, Sam
rstower6 - I had the exact same problem with my 2022XLT. The issue seems to stem from the fact that the AVS Bugflector (model AVS25621) does not "hug" the edge of the hood but extends past the edge between 1/4" and 1/2" such that the Bugflector hits the top of the headlights before the hood can fully latch. I tried slamming my hood many times but could not get it to fully latch. I contacted AVS thinking maybe they sent me the wrong one as the box was severely damaged and it looked like it was a return from someone else's order. They gave me the same explanation they gave you (it must have been defective in the molding process). They sent me a new one for free and I have the exact same issue. So now I have two unusable Bugflectors. I gave up and ordered one from Weathertech that I have yet to install. Someone at AVS needs to take this feedback seriously that it does NOT fit the 2022 XLT.

Exactly - no problems whatsoever with the EGR. Easy to install (with correct tool to pop the oem seal scrivets), matte black looks great, and price was good. I'm very pleased.

I,m sending the same bug deflector back today for the same reason, and my box also looked like the UPS guy drug it behind his truck, mine was also going on a 2022 Platinum. I'm going to order a different brand.
