Default 2021 Wheels

Hello all,

Which wheels do you all recommend most? Machined Aluminum, The Polished Aluminum like on the Platinum, or the PVD Wheels? The PVD Wheels look great, but do they last like the Polished Aluminum? Anyone with experience please share your thoughts.

I have the 2018 with PVD wheels, all around the edges the plating is flaking off to bare metal.

I have another case of flaking PVD around wheel perimeter - on my 2016 302A. Of the 2021 offerings, I actually prefer the stock 18" machined aluminum wheels with Magnetic painted pockets that are standard on the Lariat. That's what will come on my 501A.....if it ever gets built.....

That is what I have...the stock wheels on the 501 Lariat. My '20 XLT had the 20" wheels (non PVD) but I actually like the stock 18" wheels better IMO.

I had PVD wheels on my last truck and they held up great through the 70k I had them for. They’re super easy to keep clean too.
