2021 Supercharger options
So I finally received my new 2021 F150 2wd standard cab short bed with the 5.0 engine last week that I had ordered mid September. I purchased this truck with the intensions to modify with a supercharger, lowering kit ,big tires and to make some 1/4 mile passes at the local track since this will not be my daily driver. Joined this forum hoping to get some input on what other people are running and having success with in particular supercharger systems, went to order a Whipple system and it is not available until maybe mid summer if I'm lucky. Problem I have is paying for something up front and not knowing when I may receive especially how much these things cost. Just wondering if anybody here is running a VMP Odin system or anything besides Whipple that could give me any feedback on how there systems are working and what tuning hurdles they are having for the 21's .

I'm pretty sure Whipple is the only company offering a supercharger kit for 2021+ 5.0 F150s right now. You might be able to get away with modifying a 2018-2020 supercharger kit to make it fit your 2021, but then you'd have to find someone to tune it and I think the only company offering tunes for supercharged 2021+ 5.0 F150s is Whipple, and they only offer their tune with their supercharger kit.
Livernois just recently started offering tunes for 2021+ F150s, but I doubt they'd be able to help you with a custom tune unless you towed your truck to them after the install and paid a large sum of money for custom tuning on their dyno. I think your only good options are waiting for a Whipple kit, or waiting for other companies to release kits for the 2021+ 5.0 F150s, either way you might be waiting a year.

I have contacted several vendors regarding the Whipple kit and nobody has anything in stock, most have been pretty straight forward saying good luck on getting anything before mid summer. Tuning is the major hurdle right now on the 21' and up models since 18'-20' to models are basically the same as 21's with the exception of tuning capabilities, FYI 2021 models and up have the cloud based updates that monitor everything your truck is doing and updates software on the fly but makes it very difficult to change anything outside the factory preset parameters because of the new encryption. Once the aftermarket can jailbreak the encryption tuning these things will make ridiculous power per cubic inch especially when adding boost.

Livernois has a tune for N/A 5.0's. Whipple makes a supercharger but availability is constrained. Ford has announced their version of the whipple, a little down on hp/tq but with ford warranty. Todd Barrowman from champaign ford, a dealership that does a number of rcsb trucks, claims that rousch is close and it will suprise people with "big numbers". I'm waiting and watching too.

Ever since the pandemic, you can never trust what a vendor's website says. You have to call and verify first..
