2021 BLISS Error with Boost Mirror
I recently had the Boost Tow mirrors installed by a professional shop. They worked great for 3-4 weeks , until now I get the Blind Spot /Cross Traffic error. But this comes and goes. I live in Upstate NY so we have a lot of salt and sand this time of the year. I thought I solved the issue ... I had the truck washed the first two times it happen and the error went away and things worked fine for a few days. Yesterday I was out for a ride and when got passed by a car to the left of me and unfortunately I was passing a car to the right of me at the time the error popped up again. Not sure what would be my next step? Should I take to dealer ( if its not the mirrors this will be a charge) or do I send the mirrors back( that will undo the complete install). Any ideas or help would be welcomed!
I would have the installer recheck the connections, could just be a simple fix that something wasnt snapped together on the connector right and it has a poor connection since it is intermittent. Could also explain when car washed that a bit of water in the connector made a better connection until it evaporated. Just a quick thought.

Did you ever get this figured out?
We just installed these mirror and have the same error. Boost Auto looked at the connector from photos I sent them and told me it is "a very rare configuration and only have seen one or two like it before."
"The root of the issue with the blind spot code is caused be the lack of a ground on the correct pin. In order to get this feature working, the ground would have to be moved or spliced. Based on what we see, the ground in pin 8 is present on the driver side, but not the passenger side. In order to remedy the issue, we can assist you in moving the pin for the ground on either the truck side connector or the mirror connector itself."
