2021 3.3 Flexfuel
I average like 16 mpg... Im reading people are getting like 20 in this truck... HOW IN THE WORLD?
And this is with regular gas... not e85.
I have slightly slightly bigger tires than factory... But it should kill my MPGs like that...
Can somebody help? Give me some advice... I take off pretty slow... I'm not on the throttle a whole lot...

That aside, winter fuel blends have been out and drop MPGs a good bit as well.
Taking off slow doesn’t really help, either. This isn’t the old days of carburetors dumping fuel down the intake.

What other trucks do you have to compare to in your area?
I average 20mpg in the winter, and 21-22 Spring-fall.
It can go as high as 25 on a long highway trip at around 70mph.

If you googled F150 with larger tires, you will see many threads like this one where people discover bigger more aggressive tires come with an MPG penalty.
Here in Central Wisconsin we are under a long cold snap something that hasn't happen in a few years. Have a 22 XLT 302a 4X4 Screw 2.7EB payload package truck that has 3.73 gearing. 2023 was the same winter mileage as year 2022 about +/- 20mpg. This year +/- 17.5mpg. More 4x4 slow going slippery roads and COLD -7F right now looking at a high of +4F.
It is Winter and in the Winter mother nature rules apply.
