2021 10 speed
Yeah no issue with the 10 speed. It sometimes has hiccups, but as I have noted before that is less a problem with the transmission itself and more a biproduct of more gears. It does more shifting since it has more to work with, and that increases the chances of catching it between shifting and that always makes for weird behavior. Like if accelerating and it shifts from 1st to 3rd, but you hit the brake mid-shift, it will sometimes "shudder" or whatever you would call it, but I have never had an automatic transmission that didn't like that kind of change mid-shift, you just have more opportunities with 10 gears.
Even that though is rare, but it's the only thing I can think of when people describe issues with the 10 speed. My 2019 and 2021 have been great. Not without occasional missteps, but not enough to worry about or make a thread about.

I drive several different daily drivers. All manual transmissions from 3 on the tree, to three in the floor, to 4 in the floor, to five speed, to six speed manuals..... even with all that I've seen nothing to really hate on the ten speed. I drive many vehicles in my shop listening and looking for problems. All automatic suck imo. Either they are lazy to shift or they shift too much. Slow shifting, hard shifting.... Gear hunting etc etc. One of the best consistently I've seen is the Alison but even it has quirks. Ive driven several 10 speed from a few companies. I haven't seen one much better or worse. The wife's Toyota is buttery smooth shifting and very nice.... until you see a red-light going to change and floor it. Then it hunts for a gear for 3 seconds and you don't even speed up. Lol
Of course yours could be having issues.

On my 19 it was glitchy. Most especially shifting up out of 3rd gear. That issue was way worse if the trans was cold, so I would remote start it every day.
My 21 shifts much better and I only have 200 miles on it.

I cleared the learning tables with Forscan, and after a few hundred miles, and myself getting used to its behavior, I think I'm finally happy with the thing. Getting used to the throttle sensitivity compared to the 2012 Sierra I came from I think was my main problem.
