2-way remote start
Well, I’ve had my 2025 Lariat for about 2 weeks now. Today, I just discovered that the remote start Fob doesn’t have an indicator that the truck started. My 2017 had a factory 2 way remote start (as well as the FordPass app).
From what I can tell from google, is that Ford stopped making it available after 2020.
Anyone know if there is a way to get a 2-way factory fob?
It’s not big deal, just wondering?

I don't think I have ever used the fob to start my truck...I always use the FordPass app, and my key is...in the truck, somewhere...all the time. I will have to go find it and see what it does!
My 2018 has the Truck reverse reporting to the Fob.
Clean start is solid Green.
Red single flash is low signal, but start was successful.
Double Red flash is a fail to start.
Failure might only be your position or distance from the Truck or low Battery or both or what is in between the Fob and the Receiver located in the right rear headliner area.
For example, If your building is covered with Alum siding, only place the signals will go both ways is through window areas in mostly a straight; line, at the vhf/uhf frequency involved.
The path both ways need to be good and unobstructed.
In parking lots, I have signaled as far away as 100 yards. Trick is to put the Fob under the Chin for extra distance. You make a better antenna in one direction toward the Truck as long as the Battery is good.
Good luck.
