doesn't seem to be much activity in this 3.0l area. Just curious if everyone is ut driving or got rid of them! Been reading about this engine now its been in the f150 a few years and considering it for my next on vs going back to a super duty that I really have little to no need for. Any longer term updates anyone would like to share?

If you're on Facebook, there are several F150 diesel groups that are much more active than this forum for the diesel. There's also https://www.dieself150forum.com/

Its really hard to pick out an engine anymore.

The 3.0 beats all other choices hands down on mpg. Over 20 mpg is a given unless youre towing. The 2021 3.0 now has a rubber timing belt that scheduled to be changed at 150,000. Also, I've just learned that the oil pump has a rubber drive belt that is scheduled to be changed at 150,000. The oil pump belt is located at the rear of the engine and you must remove the transmission to change it. I have changed my own timing chains, but Im not going to pull the transmission off in my driveway.
