Need info on my cluster panel
I have an F1 50 crew cab lariat 2001 I’ve replaced every light in my truck with LEDs and then put blue LEDs in my cluster panel only to find out that there’s a green film so no matter what color I put it’s going to be green. I can’t find any info anywhere and came here please let me know if I need to post on another section of this forum I saw info about maybe Sanding the green film off if it is a Greenfilm I also saw other ideas but not sure I want to start in life I have more info and if I can find another cluster without that film on it I would like to know thank you

Head over to the 97-03 section, you'll get a ton more help. You posted in the member meet up section. But yeah there's a green film, you'll have to take it off if you want blue. I believe you can buy a new gauge cluster that doesn't have the film but they aren't cheap.
