Default What happened?

Sometimes I think about tuning my truck, then I see stuff like this 🤯👀
Why did this happen??

Too much timing and boost with stock internals that weren't made for the power would be my guess.

I'm curious who the tuner was.

pushing the motor harder, there's always a chance it can go south. An over aggressive tune, could have overlooked some safety parameters, bad fuel/wrong octane, fuel system component failure. Without someone diving into the tune parameters and knowing what fuel was in it it's all a guessing game.

There is more to that truck's story.

We may never know.

It's hard to believe that any reasonable person would write an unsafe tune, beyond the thresholds of the stock engine.

It happens.....note from the abbreviated story in the video, it was running E85. If not done correctly, lots can go wrong. If done correctly you can exceed a stock 3.5 long block's strength, so there's a lot to say about that.

If you go with a reputable tuner, odds are lower of this happening, or if you go with 5 star, for $500, grab the powertrain warranty and have fun.
