What to expect
First post so bare with me. Just bought a 2018 xlt sport cc 4x4 3.55s last night. I came from a 18 ram. I did the brodozer thing with it the purpose of the 150 is to be my 4 door mustang. I'll be ordering the omega stage 2 with the pmas right away along with a cat back yes I know no gains for that. I'm hoping this will get me to a 12.99. elevation @ my track is 800 or so ft. Is that a realistic time or should I pass on the katskinz for now and get LTs to get there?
My 2018 crewcab 4x4 went 13.08 (on a Dragy) with just a JLT cold air and an e85 tune. The weather was REALLY good; negative DA and I dropped the spare tire too. I'm at about 700ft elevation so we're close. There's several variables but I don't think your goals are too farfetched.
My advice would be to start with what you've ordered and maybe loose a little weight. If you haven't bought a Dragy yet, do that too. They are easy to use and surprisingly accurate. Longtubes are a pain in the butt; I would do them last. I've never had one but judging by what I've seen others do, I would swap in a mustang intake manifold and have the truck tuned for that manifold before I would do the longtubes.
