Default Tuning

Hello all, Im sure this has been asked a million times so here it goes. What tuner are you all running and have you guys seen pre mature issues? Im looking for a good tune for my daily driver 2020 Screw 3.5EB. I do tend to tow alot and i am not looking for a all out race truck..I want a some what "safe" tune if there is one.

Thanks.

If you’re looking for something safe and do a fair amount of towing, I’d suggest the 5 Star tow tune in the highest octane that is available in your area. If you don’t tow too heavy, their auto octane adjustable tune is good too and you’ll still be able to use the tow/haul function on your truck. They offer an extended warranty if you want some extra peace of mind.

I very much enjoy how my Coyote runs with 5 star 93 perf tune and E85 in the tank. Currently I'm running their E85 perf tune and honestly dont sense a big difference in acceleration at WOT over the 93 tune so I might to go back eventually. I tried their automatic octane tune and it felt mildly better than stock slightly improved shifting and acceleration but not major. 93 perf is dramatically different from stock or auto octane. You do have tow mode with the tune too. It shifts great and pulls much harder.
I haven't tried the 91 tow / performance tune yet. I had difficulty loading it and ran out of time screwing with it before a recent trip. Instead I went back stock last time I towed just to be safe and because I was not confident in the availability and quality of the high octane fuel where I was headed. Driving the truck stock is really lame feeling now LOL.
Your 3.5EB will gain a lot more than the 5.0. I'm happy with 5 Star thus far overall and can recommend them.

93 performance from 5* rocks but not designed for towing, that's why as abyss said there are tow-specific tunes.
