Default telling the truth?

Hi I just got my new to me 2019 f150 5.0 and have been looking into adding a whipple to it. I have looked and looked and even talked to whipple and everyone is saying 14-16 weeks is the wait period. I just got an email from american trucks and talked to a salesman that told me its in stock but it would be a 4 week wait because of shipping. I am going to order it from someone but if I am being lied to which it seems like, I will order from some other company that treats its customers with respect. I did get in touch with beefcake and he told me the same 14 plus wait but he is offering 10 percent off. Any thoughts? Thanks!

That was my thought exactly and what I told him, he assured me it was 4 weeks. My gut says to go with someone else, is beefcake trustworthy?

Beefcake is a good place.

I got my Whipple kit from Lethal Performance. Unless the store has one in stock at their place and they are the ones shipping it. that would be the only way you would have it in 4 weeks. I got mine 2 years ago and was quoted 6-8 weeks and got it in 7. The company Lethal performance is based in Florida and my kit shipped from Whipple in California.

On the other thread about the FRPP kit, you said that you might wait to see what it's about. Those kits are for the 2021-22 model years; not sure if FRPP will sell a 2018-20 kit since Whipple has already been selling them. If you don't want to wait for the Whipple, you can also check out VMP's Odin supercharger. Personally I love the Whipple, but I've heard good things about the Odin making very similar power and 4-6 weeks is their typical lead time.
