I am looking to buy a used SCT X4 from someone but I don't think its the 7015 model for Ford. Will it still work if its meant for other vehicles if in load a new custom tune or will it just fail to detect the f150?

I have a 2013 F150 5.0 XLT and will buy a custom tune from Oz/5 star

I'm OK not to get the preloaded SCT tunes as long as it works with custom ones.
