Default Queation about tuning

This is my 2nd time posting this and i didnt get but one response so im going to post it again.

After doing a catback and doing a resonator delete do I need a tune for it run correctly if everything is a 3 inch pipe? I am literally 100% stock on everything minus the exhaust. I ask this because i can be doing 70 mph and its like there is no low end torque. Meaning i could be driving normally 75 mph in the slow lane and cars are going past me in the next lane. For me to even stay in flow wirh traffic speed i have to be within 75-80mph. I thought it was me but its not. Even when trying to pass someone it doesnt get up and go like it did before the catback change. So would a tune from maybe oz tuning fix this? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

That doesn't make sense. Speed is speed. its not torque dependent. Do you mean it feels like you have less power when passing?

Tuning just to fix that doesn't really apply. Adding an exhaust really does very little on a stock motor. If you get a tune, you'll get that power back, but for different reasons.

Should you tune when replacing parts? Sure. do you absolutely have to? No.

Yeah less power than what it was before. Even just regular driving you know how you will feel a pull and can keep up at 70 mph in the flow of traffic, well mine is the opposite of that, i dont have that pull when taking off or when trying to pass like a V8 should. Just after that installation about a week or 2 later i started noticing this. Now its like when im going 70 mph its a struggle to stay in flow with traffic. Now when i get on the throttle like halfway to pass it doesnt pull like it was once before. For me to pass someone lets say going 65 id have to get up to about 82 mph when before it would be about 73ish.

It could be just a lying butt dyno because theres more sound, but have you tried doing a KAM reset?

Definitely don't do the Omega Oz tune. I just did my motor swap to a mustang Gt engine and put shorty headers for the f150 on it to fit in my f150 (mustang comes with shorty headers instead of cast iron ones) and my rear o2's keep throughing codes and thought I would do the Omega tune, did my build out form, said I was putting in a mustang Gt engine in place of the f150 engine, said that I put on comparable short tube headers that fit my truck, running stock air box and can't get the truck to run right at all because the rear o2 codes keep popping up.
and I can't get any support from them as to even suggest what I should do in this situation. (Even though this truck don't drive on the street, it's an offroad race truck and 99.9% stock setup) I got a email saying that they can't suggest anything for this. I should have just spent the money on the Holly stand alone system but figured I didn't need to if I was running it in a stock class with relativly stock components. $800 Lesson learned I guess!
